How does PSTN voice pricing work?

The PSTN inbound and outbound voice price is quoted per minute but SECROM bills calls per 15 seconds. For example, one thousand calls of one-minute duration each would total: rate per minute x number of minutes ($0.018 x 1000 = $18.00). However, if the duration of each call was 20 seconds, the total price would be $9.00.

Note that when receiving an inbound call, the total billing can vary based on the type of connection. Making calls from PSTN to the Internet (VoIP) and vice-versa, only the PSTN leg is charged. SECROM does not charge clients for the Internet leg.
